The title compound, C(8)H(12)NO(+)·Br(-), is built up from roughly planar (r.m.s. deviation for the non-H atoms = 0.062†à ) protonated 4-eth-oxy-anilimium cations and Br(-) anions. In the crystal, the cations and anions are linked by N-H⋯Br and N-H⋯(Br,Br) hydrogen bonds, generating (100) sheets. Very weak C-H⋯π inter-actions may also help to stabilize the crystal structure.
