In the crystal of the title compound, C(15)H(21)NO(4), inter-molecular N-Hâ¯O hydrogen bonds link mol-ecules related by translation along the c axis into hydrogen-bonded chains. C-Hâ¯O links are also present. The dihedral angle between benzene ring and enamide group is 50.08â (3)°
(E)-N-(3,4-Dimethoxy-pheneth-yl)-3-methoxy-but-2-enamide.
