IN THE TITLE COMPOUND [SYSTEMATIC NAME: 3-(5,5-dioxo-phen-othia-zin-10-yl)-N,N,2-trimethyl-propanaminium chloride], C(18)H(23)N(2)O(2)S(+)·Cl(-), the dihedral angle between the two outer aromatic rings of the phenothia-zine unit is 30.5â (2)°. In the crystal, the components are linked by N-Hâ¯Cl and C-Hâ¯Cl hydrogen bonds and C-Hâ¯Ï inter-actions.
