Abstract
The mol-ecule of the title compound, [Rh(C(13)H(10)NO(2)){As(C(6)H(5))(3)}(CO)] or [Rh(BPHA)(AsPh(3))(CO)] (BPHA is the N-benzoyl-N-phenyl-hydroxy-laminate anion), comprises a bidentate N-benzoyl-N-phenyl-hydroxy-laminate anion coordinating through the O atoms to the soft Lewis acid, rhodium(I), and two monodentate ligands, viz. tri-phenyl-arsine and carbonyl. The resulting CO(2)As coordination environment around the central Rh(I) atom is distorted square planar.=.
