Abstract
Myoepithelioma of the salivary gland is very rare. Due to the non-specific nature of myoepithelioma symptom, it can be easily mistaken for other benign or malignant tumors. Diagnosis of myoepithelioma primarily relies on histopathological evaluation and immunohistochemical analysis. The treatment of myoepithelioma is complete removal of the tumor. We report a case of a parotid myoepithelioma with cystic degeneration and review the related literature.
