Abstract
Here, we report the draft genome sequence of Paenarthrobacter sp. CAP02, which metabolizes caprolactam as a sole source of carbon and nitrogen. This bacterium was isolated from Dane County Landfill Site No. 2 in Madison, WI, USA.
