Abstract
This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: 1. To appraise the effectiveness of traditional Chinese medicinal herbs (TCMH) for induction of remission in idiopathic ulcerative colitis. 2. To determinate adverse events associated with TCMH treatment in ulcerative colitis.
