Abstract
Hemangiomas are primarily associated with neovascularization and the abnormal proliferation of blood vessels. No cases of hemangioma combined with actinomycosis have been reported in the literature. We present a case of a 54-year-old man with a rapidly enlarging left upper limb mass after two traumatic injuries. Pathological examination performed after surgical resection of the mass at our center revealed a hemangioma complicated by actinomycosis. This case indicates that actinomycetes may colonize hemangiomas and contribute to their continuous enlargement, with excellent prognosis after surgery.
