Abstract

The increasing scale of wind power access to the grid makes it important to identify weak links in the system to prevent major outages. In order to analyze the vulnerability of grid nodes, this paper proposes a dynamic comprehensive evaluation method considering system uniformity, and establishes a comprehensive assessment model of node vulnerability based on wind power grid-connectedness, based on which the vulnerability of wind power-containing power systems is studied. Firstly, the improved weighted power entropy index is selected for the phenomena of system current instability and line overloading, and the comprehensive index set of node vulnerability is constructed by considering the structural and state characteristics, and the subjective and objective weights are calculated by using the hierarchical analysis method and the CRITIC method. Subsequently, the Dagum-Gini coefficient method is utilized to reflect the homogeneity of the system, and a comprehensive evaluation method based on the VIKOR method is used to confirm the ordering of critical nodes that have the greatest impact on the system and have a high failure rate. Finally, the proposed method is applied to the study of node vulnerability of wind-containing power systems. The feasibility of the above methodology is verified by a modified IEEE-118 test system with test simulations.
