Abstract

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: To evaluate in adult participants undergoing all types of surgery, the effects of pre‐emptive and preventive non‐steroidal anti‐inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) compared with post‐incision NSAIDs for reducing postoperative pain and opioid consumption.
