The sheer amount of literature produced in fisheries and aquaculture often makes it difficult to identify new concepts and judge the significance of new information. Abstracting services and conventional review articles can be valuable, but they don’t assess the importance of the information or judge its reliability. One of the principal objectives of Reviews in Fisheries Science & Aquaculture is to make these assessments and judgments.
