The title compound, C(42)H(37)NO(2), crystallizes in the ortho-rhom-bic space group P2(1)2(1)2(1) with one mol-ecule in the asymmetric unit. An intra-molecular hydrogen bond orients the phenol hydroxyl group toward the imine nitro-gen. The aliphatic alcohol is engaged in a weak intra-molecular hydrogen bond with the imine nitro-gen.
