In the title complex, [Pd(C(10)H(8)N(2))(CH(3)CN)(2)](CF(3)SO(3))(2) or [Pd(bipy)(CH(3)CN)(2)](CF(3)SO(3))(2), the palladium(II) ion is fourfold coordinated by two aceto-nitrile mol-ecules and a bidentate 2,2'-bi-pyridine ligand in a distorted square-planar geometry.
