The title compound, C(22)H(21)NO(2), was synthesized from 4-meth-oxy-2-methyl-aniline and 2-hy-droxy-1,2-diphenyl-ethanone. In the title compound, the C-C-C-N-C backbone adopts an all-trans conformation. The crystal structure is stabilized by weak inter-molecular C-Hâ¯O hydrogen-bond inter-actions.
