In the title compound, [Co(C(12)H(8)N(2))(3)][ReO(4)](2)·H(2)O, the Co(II) atom is coordinated by three 1,10-phenanthroline ligands in a distorted octa-hedral arrangement. In the crystal, the components are linked by O-Hâ¯O, C-Hâ¯O and aromatic Ï-Ï stacking [shortest centroid-centroid separation = 3.659â (5)â à ] inter-actions.
