In the title compound, C(10)H(10)N(4)O, the dihedral angle between the pyridine ring and the -C=O(CH(2))CN group is 24.08â (12)°. In the crystal, inversion dimers linked by pairs of N-Hâ¯N hydrogen bonds generate R(2) (2)(8) loops.
