[N,N'-Bis(3-meth-oxy-2-oxidobenzyl-idene)ethyl-enediammonium-κO,O',O'',O''']tris-(nitrato-κO,O')dysprosium(III).

In the title mononuclear Schiff base complex, [Dy(NO(3))(3)(C(18)H(20)N(2)O(4))], the Dy(III) ion is ten-coordinated in a distorted hexa-deca-hedral geometry by six O atoms of three nitrate anions and four O atoms of the Schiff base ligand. An intra-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bond occurs. The crystal structure is stabilized by inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
