In the crystal structure of the title hydrated bromide salt, C(20)H(20)P(+)·Br(-)·2H(2)O, O-Hâ¯Br and O-Hâ¯O hydrogen bonds as well as C-Hâ¯Br contacts connect the different components into a three-dimensional network. In the cation, the aromatic rings make dihedral angles of 55.24â (5), 76.16â (4) and 85.68â (4)°.
