The title compound, [Mn(C(10)H(9)N(4)O(2)S)(2)(C(10)H(8)N(2))], contains a distorted octa-hedral [Mn(sdz)(2)(bpy)] (sdz is the sulfadiazine anion and bpy is 2,2'-bipyridine) complex mol-ecule. A three-dimensional network is generated by N-Hâ¯N, N-Hâ¯O and C-Hâ¯O hydrogen bonds from the sulfadiazine ligands.
