The complete mol-ecule of the title compound, C(8)H(12)N(4), is generated by a crystallographic inversion centre. The piperazine ring adopts a chair conformation with the N-bonded substituents in equatorial positions. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by C-Hâ¯N(c) (c = cyanide) hydrogen bonds.
