In the cation of the title compound, (C(15)H(20)N(2))[CdBr(4)], the dihedral angle between the two pyridine rings is 70.85â (5)°. An inter-molecular Ï-Ï inter-action between the pyridine rings [centroid-centroid distance = 3.900â (4)â à ] is observed. The Cd(II) atom has a distorted tetra-hedral coordination.
