The title compound, C(11)H(19)NO(6), is an important inter-mediate for the synthesis of cephalosporin derivatives. The N atom is in a planar configuration. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked into zigzag layers parallel to (100) by O-Hâ¯O hydrogen bonds.
