The title compound, C(28)H(23)NO(4)Si, crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c. The silicon complex consists of a tridentate dinegative Schiff base ligand bound to a di-phenyl-silyl unit. The coordination geometry of the penta-coordinate silicon atom is a distorted trigonal bipyramid.
