(Z)-N'-[(E)-4-Meth-oxy-benzyl-idene]-2-(meth-oxy-imino)-2-{2-[(2-methyl-phen-oxy)meth-yl]phen-yl}acetohydrazide.

The title compound, C(25)H(25)N(3)O(4), crystallizes with two mol-ecules in the asymmetric unit. In both mol-ecules, the central ethane hydrazide moiety is almost planar. In the crystal, asymmetric, bifurcated N-H⋯(N,O) hydrogen bonds link the mol-ecules into [100] chains. The packing is consolidated by weak C-H⋯O inter-actions.
