Crystal structure of the nucleoside 2'-de-oxy-guanosine dimethyl sulfoxide disolvate.

The title com-pound, C(10)H(13)N(5)O(4)·2C(2)H(6)OS, which is of inter-est with respect to its biological activity, at 183†K has ortho-rhom-bic (P2(1)2(1)2(1)) crystal symmetry. The structure displays a network of inter-molecular N-H⋯N, N-H⋯O and O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds. 2'-De-oxy-guanosine mol-ecules are linked to each other and to the two dimethyl sulfoxide solvent mol-ecules by hydrogen bonding.
