Abstract
Nannochloris desiccata is a diploid microalga with potential biofuel and pharmaceutical applications. Available genome assemblies provide haplotype-collapsed haploid mosaics, ignoring structural and functional differences between haplotype alleles. Here, we announce haplotype-resolved diploid assemblies for strains UTEX 2437 and UTEX 2526, revealing similar statistics between assembly haplotypes and haplotype-specific genes.
