Abstract

We present the draft genome of multidrug-resistant Staphylococcus aureus MBBL_MP1 isolated from bovine clinical mastitis (CM) milk. The 2.75 Mb genome (32.5% GC; 153.4× coverage) contains 29 antimicrobial resistance genes (ARGs) and 65 virulence factor genes (VFGs), highlighting high pathogenic potential.
