Abacavir versus other nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI) backbone therapies for treatment of HIV infection

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: To assess the clinical effectiveness and safety of the combined Antiretroviral Treatment containing ABC relative to ABC‐sparing cART. A subgroup comparison will be performed in studies comparing Antiretroviral Treatment containing ABC relative to TDF containing cART.
