Incidence of Catheter-Associated Urinary Tract Infections With Compliance With Preventive Guidelines

This study describes the incidence of catheter-associated urinary tract infections in a large academic medical center and shows that even with prevention guideline adherence, catheter-associated urinary tract infections cannot truly be a never event.
