Abstract
Manganese complexes of the general formula [Mn(DAB)(CO)(3)Br] featuring sterically demanding α-diimine ligands (DAB) were prepared, characterized, and found to be catalytically active in the hydroboration of ketones. The developed eco-friendly approach allowed straightforward formation of boronic esters in quantitative yields in mild and solvent-free conditions.
