Abstract
Dr. Edward Frohlich has been involved in research and treatment activities in hypertension for many years. His career has included working with some of the most important researchers in the field of hypertension--Ed Freis, Harriet Dustan, Irving Page, and Raymond Gifford among many others. He served as Editor in Chief of the journal Hypertension and continues as an active, productive researcher. He is most worthy of the designation Hypertension Icon.
