Abstract

Myocardial bridging (MB), a congenital coronary anomaly, can lead to dynamic systolic compression of the coronary arteries, resulting in myocardial ischemia and refractory angina. Although MB is often benign, significant cases require tailored interventions. This case report describes a unique approach using thermal imaging to guide surgical unroofing in a 46-year-old man with Behçet disease and refractory angina. The integration of thermal angiography facilitated precise localization and treatment, resulting in significant symptom improvement postoperatively. This innovative application of thermal imaging highlights its potential to enhance surgical precision and improve outcomes in the management of complex MB cases.
