Abstract
More women with mechanical mitral valves (MMVs) are pursuing pregnancy. Guidelines exist for pregnancy anticoagulation, but they do not address individualized anticoagulation during delivery-a period of risk for bleeding, thrombosis, and anesthetic complications.
