Abstract
This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: Primary Objective: 1. To examine the effect of stimulant or non‐stimulant drugs (or both) on seizure frequency and seizure severity in children and adults with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and comorbid epilepsy. Secondary Objectives: 1. To examine the effect of stimulant or non‐stimulant drugs (or both) on ADHD symptoms in children and adults with ADHD and comorbid epilepsy. 2. To examine adverse effects profile and withdrawal rates of stimulant or non‐stimulant drugs (or both) in children and adults with ADHD and comorbid epilepsy. 3. To examine the effect of stimulant or non‐stimulant drugs (or both) on cognitive state, general behaviour, and Quality of Life (QoL) in children and adults with ADHD and comorbid epilepsy.
