Abstract
French Polynesia is an overseas collectivity of the French Republic comprising 118 islands. Located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, it had to take up a major challenge to restrain the entry of the Sars-CoV-2 virus, while ensuring continuity of care for its population spread over its five archipelagos. The risk of Covid-19 infection in pregnant women was a major concern, particularly in view of the territory’s high rate of obesity.
