This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: To assess the effectiveness of screening and assessment of psychosocial well‐being and care needs on the well‐being of people with cancer. To explore the intervention characteristics of these screening and assessment interventions (interventionists, instruments, procedures, implementation conditions).
