Abstract
The title compound, C(12)H(10)N(2)O(2), shows a nearly planar conformation. The crystal structure is sustained by hydrogen bonds between the NH and the carbonyl O function of the 4-oxo-1,4-di-hydro-pyridine ring of the mol-ecules, forming infinite chains along the b-axis direction.
