Abstract
The crystal of the title salt, [Ag(C(12)H(8)N(2)S)(2)]ClO(4), has C2/c symmetry whereby the silver(I) atom sits on a twofold rotation axis, as does the perchlorate anion, which is disordered about this axis. The thienylquinoxaline ligand is nearly planar with the thienyl ring making a dihedral angle of 10.88 (8)° with respect to the quinoxaline moiety.
