Abstract
As the climate catastrophe unfolds, forests are an important part of nature’s carbon sequestration and storage and thus planet-wide damage limitation. But will they still be able to play that role in a warmer world? As some forest ecosystems already suffer from rising temperatures, a comprehensive study of forest resilience identifies a new tipping point. Michael Gross reports.
