Abstract
The occurrence of a dentigerous cyst in relation to a supernumerary tooth in the maxilla is extremely rare. We in this case discussion present an even rarer case of a dentigerous cyst in relation to an ectopic supernumerary tooth in the posterolateral wall of the maxillary sinus. An endoscopically assisted multi speciality surgical approach was adopted to minimize morbidity in this complex bony lesion, with the residual bony defect reconstructed with the help of buccal fat pad.
