Abstract
The Minimal Exposure Technique for Zygomatic Implants (METZI) is a graft-free method for patients with severe upper jaw bone loss. It minimizes surgical trauma and risk of paresthesia while ensuring stable implant integration. The technique involves detailed pre-surgical planning and vestibular incisions for precise implant placement with minimal tissue invasion. METZI has shown improved implant stability and reduced complications such as hematoma, mucositis and oroantral communication. Overall, METZI offers a safe, less invasive solution for maxillary rehabilitation with favorable outcomes.
