Abstract
Information on the synthesis of monofunctionalized methanofullerenes C(60) obtained by the addition-elimination mechanism is generalized. The main reagents for cyclopropanation, mechanisms and optimal conditions for the processes, and the prospects for practical application of the products are considered.
