Abstract
Chronic type A aortic dissection (AD) following orthotopic heart transplantation in the pediatric population is an exceptionally rare complication. The diagnosis is often made at autopsy. We present the first case of diagnosis and endovascular treatment of chronic type A AD following orthotopic heart transplantation in a child whose symptoms were successfully alleviated through stent implantation in the affected celiac artery.
