Abstract
• LSE due to SLE can present with severe MS. • Mitigating clinical bias and using TEE is vital for accurately diagnosing LSE. • Diagnosing etiology of LSE is critical to guide medical and surgical management of MS. • Imaging guides management during treatment of the underlying etiology of LSE. • This case adds to growing body of evidence regarding treatment of MS due to LSE.
