Abstract
Oncocytic adrenocortical carcinoma (OACC) is an exceptionally rare adrenal malignancy. We report a case of a 47-year-old male in whom preoperative CT/MRI revealed a left adrenal bed mass, with the largest lesion measuring 11.6 cm and suggestive of renal invasion. All other preoperative hormone test results were within normal limits, except for the adrenocorticotropic hormone test. The patient underwent open surgical resection with partial nephrectomy. Histopathology confirmed OACC according to the Lin-Weiss-Bisceglia criteria. Complete surgical resection remains the cornerstone of treatment.
