Abstract
We present a genome assembly from a specimen of Omphiscola glabra (pond mud snail; Mollusca; Gastropoda; Lymnaeidae). The genome sequence has a total length of 744.78 megabases. Most of the assembly (99.95%) is scaffolded into 18 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 13.78 kilobases. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 18,317 protein-coding genes.
