Abstract
Ultrasound-guided lipoaspiration is a minimally invasive method for harvesting autologous adipose-derived stem cells for orthopaedic regenerative applications. This outpatient procedure ensures precise tissue harvesting to obtain high-quality injectable microfragmented adipose tissue. This Technical Note outlines a standardized protocol for ultrasound-guided abdominal lipoaspiration and adipose tissue processing, emphasizing the benefits of ultrasound use in optimizing cell yield and minimizing procedural risks.
