Abstract
The Molecular Resource Facility of the New Jersey Medical School was established in April 1995 to enhance the resources available to the research community within the medical school. It serves to provide services to the research community and as a source of information on molecular techniques and research strategies involving molecular biology. Our facility has developed through the years to be an “all inclusive” nucleic acid facility with limited protein analysis capabilities. We provide services in many areas including DNA sequencing, protein sequencing, peptide synthesis, qPCR and others. In 2009 we began offering High Throughput DNA Sequencing on the SOLiD® instrument. Our services are available to any laboratory requiring these services.
