Abstract
OBJECTIVES: Phlebopus roseus is a kind of edible bolete distributed in Panzhihua, Sichuan Province. P. roseus is rich in various nutrients. It is an important wild resource of edible bolete. Despite its potential for development and utilization, genomic information for P. roseus has been scarce. Herein, we report the first the annotated draft genome sequence of P. roseus strain YAFMyF046. DATA DESCRIPTION: Whole-genome sequencing of Phlebopus roseus strain YAFMyF046 was performed using Illumina NovaSeq. Genome assembly revealed an estimated genome size of 25.7 Mb divided into 1,801 scaffolds with a GC content of 50.0%. The gene completeness of the assembly was assessed with BUSCO, which revealed a completeness value of 92.6% based on the fungi_odb10 database. Genome annotation using combination of homology prediction, de novo prediction, and RNA-Seq data annotation yielded 7,922 genes.
