Abstract
Adult Laryngeal hemangiomas are rare with few cases reported in the literature. We report an unusual case of 31-year-old female with adult laryngeal hemangioma who presented with acute respiratory distress over underlying long-standing change in voice and difficulty breathing. Patient stabilization followed by thorough evaluation and prompt intervention by tracheostomy and micro-laryngeal surgery for excision and subsequent immediate post-operative tracheostomy decannulation was done. The patient was followed up for 6 months with fibreoptic examination showing normal vocal cords and near normal voice.
